About agarOLES®

Agar Agar powder Type agarOLES® is a unique functional ingredient obtained from chlorate-free, non-GMO and certified EU Organic Indonesian Red Seaweed.

agarOLES® is an excellent alternative for partial or total replacement of traditional animal-based gelling agents and/or expensive hydrocolloids to provide a particular soft and delicate texture, with smooth spreadability and creaminess.

Properties & Functionality

Gel strength between 30-200 g/cm2

Low dissolution temperature at ≥85°C

Low gelling point (33-35°C)

Does not require gelling aids (eg. KCl in standard k-carrageenan)

High synergy with sugars and other hydrocolloids

High transparency and bright gloss

High content of natural dietary fibers (contains up to 70% total dietary fiber)

Suitable for every Cultural, Religious, and Dietary preferences (vegan, vegetarian)
